Our current system is failing to capture the economic benefits of plastics. We need to stop thinking of plastic as ‘waste,’ but as a renewable resource. Plastics value is needed to be kept in the economy, without leakage into the natural environment.
Chemical Recycling offers a way to create a circular plastics economy and a scalable solution that can make a real difference on a global level.
To create additional demand for recycled plastics it is essential to develop standards for traceability of the recycled content in the value chain.
We will discuss at our webinar how the Mass Balance Approach can be applied to allocate the recycled content to different products in a transparent and credible way to drive real change and development of new raw materials and production processes.

* We would like to kindly ask you to send us your professional questions in advance. We will have limited capacity and time to answer the real time questions, however the speaker(s) will be answering the pre-collected and selected questions. Please submit your questions to Lilla Mezriczky – lilla.mezriczky@pceu.eu before 27 October 2020 12.00 CET.
